WHY LEARN TO PLAY GOLF?

Develop a lifelong healthy habit

  • There are not many sports which you can play from age 3-93. Golf is one of those sports that can connect generations and be enjoyed, no matter what age you are at.

Spend time with family and friends

  • Golf is a game that the whole family can enjoy and participate in together no matter age or ability.

Learn etiquette

  • Golf places an emphasis on etiquette. In golf there is no judge or referee; instead, players govern themselves and fellow competitors.

Prepare for Business

  • Playing a round of golf provides a good opportunity to spend 5 hours with a potential business client or employer. Many deals are closed on the golf course.

Learn to manage your emotions

  • Golf closely parallels real life as one experiences the highs and lows of the game. Golf rewards a young person’s ability to keep each shot in perspective, manage one’s emotions, maintain a positive outlook and focus on the shot at hand.

Expand your social circle

  • You never know who you will meet on a golf course, and interaction with others allows young people to develop social skills.
